What it says on the stamp

This might be a useless stamp, but...

There were more classic animation studios than Disney! The original "Tom and Jerry" shorts were made at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (nowadays the "Tom and Jerry" franchise is owned by Warner Bros). Disney never had anything to do with "Tom and Jerry". If they did, they'd affect the cartoon, I bet the violence would be toned down drastically and there'd be more singing...

Saying that "Tom and Jerry" was made by Disney is like saying the "Looney Tunes" and "Merrie Melodies" (Warner Bros.) shorts were made by Disney!
